hi lads wondering if ya can give a paddy a bit of help please : )
i got 1 of theses boards
cs918 v2_6 20140929
been trying different firmware all week to solve the hdmi flickering but still no joy drop the display to 720x576p-50 then its stable but this is no good for me big tv if ya know wot i mean
all ideas n suggestions will be grateful
lol if we get this sorted i give ya an irish blessing for good luck : )

You are getting the flickering probably because:
The device has no heatsink and is overheating
The power supply of the device has a fake Ampere rating and doesn't provide a stable or high enough Ampere.
Latest KitKat firmware might solve it, but there are so many fake RK3188 TV Boxes named CS918, it will be difficult to find the correct firmware.

dont think its firmware as i had firmware running but only on them low settings
there is a heatsink on the board but it looks like its been throw on lol
this thing flickers right from the start so could be power supply : (
