As you probably already know, there is not really a definitive answer for this question. As experiences and needs vary, so too do opinions. One person's finely-tunned hotrod, is another's pain in the as*.
As usual, many new devices will be making the scene soon. A new quad from WeTek, Amlogic is releasing two new SoCs, -the S902 and S912, new RK3368 boxes and some new RK3288 boxes are just a few examples. When is too much never enough?....Evidently always when you are a Chinese electronics concern.
I guess we are spoiled for choice.
I personally am looking forward to getting Lollipop on my UT3, it ran very well with Ugoos' 5.1 Alpha. It is a robust collection of hardware with a worthy bunch of developers. I love my UT3, but as I stated, needs vary.
        I wish you good hunting.

@warlock09: Have you looked at the MXIII-G from Gearbest? This is one of the most reasonably priced machines currently with a number of favourable reviews. It is definitely a good choice if you are on a budget. Just select the 1GB (~$50) or 2GB (~$60) option to see the latest price. The 2GB option is a better choice if you are planning to do gaming or use Kodi extensively.

@warlock09: I only have the older model, the MXIII M82 which has performed really well over the last year. The MXIII-G (S812) is only $4~5 more expensive and has some significant improvements over the MXIII (S802) such as h.265, gigabit ethernet, support for Lollipop etc. The reviews seem very positive and the price is excellent so this would be my first choice if I was looking for a new machine.
