MK808B Plus heatsink mod - no more throttling, 1.536Ghz all the time baby

1.536Ghz all the time even when stress testing. Stock temperatures were between 50-55 idling (hotplug governor) and 75-85 full load and was always throttling to 1.2Ghz or less.
Now they sit between 40-45 idling (full on performance governor) and 62-70 full load.

I used a piece of an old Slot A heat sink cutted using an hacksaw and also another piece of aluminum for the underside. Heat sinks were lapped using 600 and 1000 grit sandpaper. TIM used is Artic Silver 5. Click image for larger version

Had to cut a piece in the corner because voltage regulator were higher than the cpu and also they would become very dangerously close to a shortcircuit.

I'm new to this android tv box thing and android OS in general. Can anybody teach me how to overclock past 1.53Ghz? I'm using Finless 1.1.
    Thanks.

Very cool project! I like your idea with the zip tie, seems to be a very easy and effective solution.
Overclocking this device is not that easy. I never heard of anybody that managed to to that. The only piece of information i found is this post:

        Good luck!

            Good mod. Thanks for sharing.

How do you know the temperature while using? With Xposed? Any app?

cpu-z or cpu temp. the latter draws a graphic while you are stress testing.

The look reminds me of one of my early R/C speed controllers.
