OTT M8s TV Box - Nothing on Kodi Works Thread Rating

Hi All -
- Bought a Android OTT M8S box from **** (China) 'fully loaded' with Kodi installed. I think its 15.2 or 15.3 - Nothing at all works (its as if I don't have a connection - have ethernet plugged in and have tried wifi too).
- Internet works fine on the actual non Kodi stuff (have browsed web etc.)
- As soon as I go into Kodi (i've ran confif wizards and updated add ons); nothing seems to work at all
- I'm talking iplayer, youtube, nothing. It seems to be connected as I can browse movie info on movie add ons but when i click to load ANYTHING on any add on (iplayer, youtube etc), nothing works?
- Please help, I'm not a techy, wasted hours last night and this morning trying to sort it out. Surely it must be something simple if nothing is working.
- Do I need to uninstall/reinstall? if so how, as downloading things on Android doesn't seem the easiest.

I'll take a stab at the issue, when you first ran the wizard did you by any chance try to view any of the feeds before the wizard actually finished because if you did. You actually interrupted the installation of the feeds/channels etc..

I would do a clean install. And be patient wait for kodi to finish updating.

thanks for the reply - I've actually made some progress. It seems I can access Live TV; but no video (film, tv) will work unless its LoW qUALITY (and even then it struggles). It's very odd as Kodi on my laptop runs HD fine.?

Are you on wireless or Ethernet. Try the Ethernet and see if you notice anything different, also test the connection speed of your Android box to be sure. Speedtest.net some boxes have connection issues. Like the (m8)
