Can a mains powered USB HUB be used to power a TV stick?

I was looking around for a mains powered USB hub for use with my MK809ii and wondered whether it could also be used to power the stick as well.

Whenever I power off the stick, in order to restart it again I have to unplug/replug the USB cable.

I came across a hub that had individual on/off switches for each USB port, so thought that the ability to switch the stick on and off would be easier using a simple switch.

The hub that I am considering is this http://www.ebuyer.com/279681-xenta-7...itches-n-uh725

Yes it can. All the USB port power pins are connected together inside the TV stick.
