          no my friend i put recovery.img in the sd card but the box don't star the twrp i have this box http://www.gearbest.com/tv-box-mini-pc/pp_254173.html i really need help i will appreciate if u can help please

            afgp87, get a toothpick.

            Assume you have a valid image of TWRP

            1) Unplug the power from the box (make sure the recovery.img is on the root of the SD card)
            2) Insert the toothpick into the A/V port and press. You should feel the switch inside the hole depress.
            3) Plug the box back in while holding the toothpick.
            4) Release the toothpick after seeing the boot screen.
            4) The box should power up to the TWRP screen.

              cwh060 thanks but i do exactly like that and the box drop me to the regular recovery no to the twrp

                Hm, not sure what more to suggest. If your file system can see the image on your SD card, then maybe the version of software is not correct. There is a lot of information in this link for AMLogic devices. Might help.

                  It is better to flash TWRP to the original partition recovery.
                  But first find the original RK8 firmware to back to stock.
