I have internal sdcard corruption. I have use some firmwares from this forum and all are giving me internal sdcard corruption.

I have use CWM 6.0.2.8 and when I go to restore it says me that md5 check is not valid!!!

When I restore a backup from Titanium Backup some programs do not restore. The next time I reboot, in some cases I get a black screen.

I'm very frustating about buy this Minix Neo X5 product.

Android is a very very bad operating system. I was considering install a real linux system like picuntu, but it seems that the project is not going on.

Nand corruptions usually happened if you power off the device incorrectly, or if your power supply is bad.

Some suggestions: try to use the rk flash tool included in all Finless roms.
First erease nand(idb)
Install the Rom you want, after that install cwm recovery.

Muy buenas, no comparto para nada tu apreciación sobre android, pero entiendo tu frustración cuando algo no funciona como tiene q funcionar.
La corrupción de la nand normalmente pasa cuando no apagas bien el cacharro o porque el alimentador no funciona bien.
Una vez q pruebas e instalas varias roms, lo mejor es conectarla al pc y desde rk Flash tool (viene en todas las roms de Finless) y limpiar la nand(idb) e instala desde ahí la nueva rom, pero si apagas el cacharro mal o el alimentador de corriente está chungo se te volvers a fastidiar

This is a KNOWN COMMON issue with 3066 devices!

I can tell you however that some 3066 TV devices seem to have fixed this issue. Tablets still have the problem but some of the MK808 new kernels seem to have solved it.

Minix need to fix it in the kernel.

Then, try to wipe cache and in advanced wipe dalvik cache too. Try to boot with this and cross the fingers, sometimes it works. Or you can try to recover from cwm recover by adb.

Entonces, lo mejor q puedes hacer para salir del Bootloop es entrar en cwm recovery y hacer wipe caché y wipe dalvik cache. Algunas veces funciona, o tratar de conectarte por adb desde el recovery y recuperar desde allí lo importante.

Yes, but it is talking about "external" sdcard corruption.

I have internal sdcard corruption. I think CWM recovery is causing the internal sdcard corruption.

It's a caos: There is many zips with CWM_X5 to flash to recovery partition the CWM, but I don't know what is the kernel associated. Version 6.0.2.8, 6.0.3.1? Are both versions compatible? I think not.

I use 'Orange Backup' in my Galaxy S and it works perfect. In Minix X5 this program crash.

In some firmwares I've seen that in build.prop the name of machine is 'GT-I9100'. This can crash many apk's.

In other post I have seen that is not possibe to manage ext4 format disk. It is not true. I have mounted a external ext4 SATA disk throw usb and it is working. I have to mount manually.

Thanks, but i tried to use rkback tool program to flash the last 2.2.3 1080 firmware and it crashed in the same point (10%) when the program is checking the copy writed.

I had to use finless rktool (finless 1.2b) and I had to flash some times until the checking of the copy was ok. It was crashing at 60%, 80%, 90%. Previosly, I have done a full data reset with finless rktool.

I changed the USB port of windows 7, and remove all other usb devices plugged.

Yesterday, I backed up a copy of titanium backup programs. I didn't use the CWM backup program, becouse I think it is the source of internal sdcard corruption, perphaps my internal sdcard is damaged.

The first time I booted android the system asked me to format internal sdcard data becouse it was damaged. I formated.

No sé si tengo la tarjeta interna sdcard estropeada o no. Con rkbacktool (la del firmware 2.2.3) siempre me cascaba al comprobar la copia al 10% de la comprobación. Con la otra herramienta finless rktool (1.2b) me casca aleatoriamente en la comprobación de la copia, unas veces al 60%, 80%...

Estuve intentándolo dos o tres veces hasta que me indicó que la copia estaba 'ok'. Cuando lo enchufé a la tv me indicó que la tarjeta sdcard (la interna) estaba dañada y que si quería hacer una copia y dije que sí.

Tenía una copia del Titanium Backup en un usb que copié a la tarjeta interna y luego fui restaurando poco a poco. Me falló la restauración de google drive, pero bueno, el resto bien.

Cuando flashee la rom finless 1.2b puse en el recovery un CMW 6.0.3.1, pero no he llegado a realizar ninguna copia de seguridad porque creo que el CWM es el causante de corrupción en la tarjeta interna.

Look at your usb wire and change it. If sdcard corruption comes while you are flashing, it means damaged usb wire or port or damage sdcard, I hope the fitst option.

Mirate el cable usb, cuando el flasheo falla en diferentes lugares indica q o bien los datos no llegan bien porque el puerto o el cable están chungos o q está fastidiada la nand, espero q sea la primera opción, no he visto la contestación, formateaste la nand antes de instalar?
No conozco ningún caso de q cwm corrompa la nand, y créeme, estos cacharros son tela de duros de estropear, pero quizás te ha tocado la China
Resumen: Mírate lo del cable y el puerto usb, mira si tiene mucha holgura, cuidao y apaga por software, y mírate la psu, o si usas el mismo cable para flashear y para alimentar el cacharro lo tienes un poco más claro.

I formated nand before flash. I changed usb port and unplugged other usb previously connected. I rebooted windows 7 too. The cable I use to flash is not the same cable to power. In Minix Neo X5 I have to use 2 cables during flash, one cable (9v) to power and the other cable from OTG port to usb computer port.

All the programs I used to flash data they write data ok, but the problem is when after write data, they check if data writen is ok, and in this case it fails for me in some cases.

Es muy extraño, ojalá que no, pero creo que tengo la NAND rota. Nunca he apagado el cacharro y me da que tarde o tremprano termina pasando factura. Cuando lo recibí, lo primero que hice fue flashear la finless y a la primera sin ningún problema. Al cabo de 1 mes me empezó a dar problemas y fue cuando vi que al flashear me cascaba en la comprobación de los datos escritos.

¿Existe algún programa que haga alguna comprobación de este tipo de memorias internas?
