Hello everybody I'm looking for some direction here
My wife purchased a mx 111 or mx 3 what ever you wish to call it from Amazon for me
And I can't seem to find any real information for it
I am looking to be able to update it as OTA update finds nothing and I would like to root it so I can remove bloat ware and wotnot IE use adaway

I downloaded android system checker from play store and it's reporting that its a
MBX n200 if that means anything to anyone
Any help is greatly appreciated

Also when I watch streams on kodi they keep pausing to buffer and repeating the same thing

I don't think it's anything to do with my Internet as I have a 200mb connection so that should be ample enpugh

Can someone please help
My unit doesn't have recovery on it
And if I try to update from the app all unit does is switch off and the light on unit flashes red and blue
It's really starting to get on my nerves and I feel to hit it with a hammer

I did try that on Sunday that's how I came to find that I have no recovery on this and I can't update from the update app that's installed on the box

Even if someone could explain how to get recovery onto the box that would be a great help as I would have something to work with

No I haven't thank you so much I think that is just what I'm looking for I think I will have to install it using adb as the reset button seems to do nothing as there is no recovery on it

Do I have to download anything special to acsess the unit via adb?

OK I have managed to get recovery and root on this unit thanks to blinkone now can anybody point me in the right direction to a halfway decent rom? as the one that is on the unit is a pile of pants

Hello gumbo71,

you may have one of the hybrid clones, if you do brick it have a look here for help

A couple of roms will work on it, none great, based on mbox. Go for openelec if your main interest is kodi

In the couple of android roms that work I've had M9 and M8S versions
I've seen mbx, n200, k200 & mx3 listed at various places inside them.

It actually has S812 and k200 with AP6330 wifi.
Only version of TWRP that worked was the K200.

All this points to it being a MXiii plus but i've not had that rom working on it.
