Hey guys,

I got 2 MXQ boxes in need of some fixing.. I am familiar with getting into recovery mode and I have a USB stick and a SD Card with files on it to reload the firmware, but these don't seem to want to work.

One device just shows a black screen, the other just shows the MXQ logo and thats it.

I've tried holding in the reset button and turning on, nothing.
Tried with USB stick in and powering on with reset button, nothing.
Tried with SD Card and nothing.

Downloaded the USB Burning Tool but it doesn't recognize the device is plugged in to restore, any help would be greatly appreciated.. thanks so much!

Same problem with my box think the pins need shortend or cut on the nand but dont know what ones they are been hunting the net since last week lol

To use the USB burning tool you must turn on the device while pressing the reset button, using USB port 4 connected to the computer.

I done what cassioac says but i pluged power d usb plus reset button al at same time till windows found the box

I tried that and still did not recognize it... is there a special USB cord I need or just any regular double ended one?

Any end to end make sure its the usb port on the motherboard and not at the front ect thats if its a pc u have ...

Hold al 3 of them the power the usb and the reset push them in same time and keep reset button holded in takes at leest 3 minz to find it ... Have thr worldcup drivers installed first
