Latest firmware for my Ott (?) M8 ?

Hello people. I've had my Ott M8 TV box for a year and everything has been running great so far. But for the last month I have been facing a problem. The box keeps rebooting when I try to watch 1080p content on kodi and YouTube. I tried factory reseting it but the problem remains. I also tried switching back and forth with hardware and software acceleration with no luck as well. So I want to try to flash a newer firmware to see if it helps. Things is that I bought it second hand without boxes etc and I don't know what version of the TV box I Have! It says on the back "Ott M8" and it is the squared one with the rounded remote control. I would appreciate it if you could help me to find out which TV box is it and the appropriate firmware for it. Thank you all!

Find out the build number of your box. And check out this posts on my link below, like my latest post. So even if the box has from outside the same look, not all m8 have same chipset. On china review gadges blogspot (the blog seems better to me than the orginal page) you can search for m8 or m8s(some m8 can have the m8s chipset and build number) and sort the results by date to get the newest rom for your device. All on your own risk. For my m8 the november bcm build rom of the m8s works

Hallo again and thanks for your answers. I kinda regret flashing my M8 as I've factory reset it several times and everything is working well now! My only problem now is that I have lags and cracks on some 1080p videos on kodi but I will sort it out! Thanks again guys!
