Problem with the new firmware 130520 (version 011)

After I flashed the new firmware rooted and it works perfectly but always fail to restart after I power off.
Flash back once to 1.2b still having the same problem.
Then I flashed to lewy's 224ROM and it works perfectly with reboot. But the next morning I am not able to start up again. The system stucked at the booting graphic.

I flashed it back to 1.2b and it is now back to normal.
Anyone has the same problem as me?

Not going to try 5.1ROM until Finless 1.3 is out.
or any advise from the expert?
    TIA.

P.S. all the flashing via RK flash tool restore button. 1.2b with nand clear n flash.

I just got a the x5 Friday because I just felt like I couldn't push any more out my Imito MX1 as it is.

The quad core units are still buggy and I wanted something stable and a little cleaner looking in the TV cabinet.

In two days I'm a little concerned. I booted it up once to see what was on it stock. There were three weird apps installed that looked like they downloaded on first boot even though there was no WiFi or Ethernet enabled.

So I flashed Finless 1.2b straight off. Then I downloaded my favorite apps from the Playstore and set the icons and screens like on my Imito.

I rebooted a few times Friday night. Unplugged and reset, not just the software reset.

Every time I boot up - the app logos and screen settings that I customized are reset.

Once in a while Netflix freezes and I have to exit out to the main screen and go back in.

The thing has rebooted on its own on me three times in so many days too.

I'm thinking I got a bad unit at this point. I haven't flashed any other ROM or made any changes since I haven't had free time.

I was impressed with 10400 Antutu score, but if I can't get through a 30 minute Netflix show or browse the web without a reboot, then I'm going to swap the Imito MX1 back into place.

I haven't gotten stuck on a boot screen, but I'm baffled by the home screen layout resetting itself.

The only thing I'm running on top of 1.2b is Nova Launcher. Maybe that's acting up? Maybe I did something dumb when I flashed it.

Next weekend I'm gong to try and flash it clean again. If it keeps acting up I'm just going to return it.

Hopefully it's just a fluke because I replaced my WD TV Live in another room with my Imito MX1 and I don't want to go back.

I've only had it since Friday though. Today is Sunday. I'm not going to rush to judgement too fast here.

So I see two things that were causing my issues.

      1. XBMC module I chose was buggy. Bleh...

      2. I was trying to use app backups from my Imito on the MX5 that weren't compatible. Manually clean installing the apps and manually changing the settings and such one step at a time made things smooth out.

Also, and this may or may not have been part of the problem, I had too many things plugged in. A USB dongle, a 32GB SD card, USB hub, flash drive, etc...

Right now I'm only using the USB dongle for my K400 and I yanked the SD card. No USB hub since I really haven't needed to use it.

The XBMC I was trying to run was shite. The apps I cloned over from another stick were wonky as well.

For the past week since pairing back all the bloat I added in, everything's smooth as silk.
