How can I obtain a replacement from Tronsmart?

Hello,

I have a Tronsmart Draco Aw80 that i bought in January of last year from Amazon.
Yesterday the device stopped sending the video signal via HDMI therefore i need to have it replaced.
I bought SquareTrade along with the device however they are saying that it is still covered under the manufacturer's warranty, however when i went to tronsmart's site there is no place on the site where you can request a replacment or even view the warranty policy.

Any ideas on how i can obtain a placement from Tronsmart and how long it usually takes?

I would also check the laws prevailing in your country in respect of warranties.

Where I am, the contract is with the company that sold the item for a certain period and it is them that are responsible for managing it.

Square trade, as I understand things is also a kind of extended warranty that means that you can also deal direct with them to obtain repairs/replacement.

It is quite common for sellers and those selling additional warranties to try and pass the buck to the customer to deal with the manufacturer, so check terms and conditions/laws etc and press them if your statutory/legal rights mean them solving the problem for you.
