I Broke My MXQ Box :(

Sorry i hope this is on the right forum :s

I updated the firmware on my all back MXQ box yesterday to Mega-tron as i was told it was the best, however my remote wouldnt not work so in an attempt to get it back the way it was, it looks like i have flashed it with the wrong firmware as the box doesnt even turn on anymore.

I have been doing a lot of googling and i found a program called BootCardMaker.

All seems simple to repair it using this program , only thing is it says i need the uboot.bin file from a stock firmware to use it, i have downloaded several MXQ stock firmware img files but nothing will open them so i can extract the needed uboot.bin.

I have yet to sleep since last night trying to fix this so any help would be apprectiated.

If you would have read any other threads about bricking S805, you would know that bootloader.img=uboot.bin.

But boot card maker has to load in the file uboot.bin not bootloader.img

Wow , your helpful Mr Sarcastic , i tried it and it didnt work.

I fixed this problem by using a usb to usb cable and the usb burning tool , i had to short 2 pins for the pc to find it but its all good now

Hi gjac1 i'm having a problem with my bricked mxq S805, I get a red light and nothing else I can't connect to the pc for some reason and the toothpick method does'nt work for me, Can you tell me which pins you shorted out so I can try this method, A photo would be brilliant if not can you tell me which pins with a drawing matbe.
I am so frustrated with this box i'm about to throw it away.
Any help would be appreciated.

Mine bricked as well, just blue led any help?
