What would you like to see in the next rom you flash???(Arnova8 G2) Sort of Wish List

Title says... What would you like to see in the next rom you flash???

So what do you want to see?

For me would love to have:-

    1)Full USB support
    2)GPS support(not just bluetooth)
    3)Android 3 or even better Android 4
4)If not the above then their UI's(thanks sowa for Android 3 UI)
    5)Real recovery. Such As Clockwork
    6)Better DPI support
7)To be able to install actual tablet software.

Will add more if I think of them...

Now what about the rest of you

I just want to say something about honeycomb or ICS on these tablets (RK29). In my opinion it is slow and honetly, I prefer Gingerbread. I think Honeycomb and for sure ICS is made for higher end tablets with dual cores and faster speeds.

The MOMO7 ROM showed me this. Gingerbread was way faster than Honeycomb on that tablet (same RK29 architecture as Arnova, Nextbook, etc).

So to be honest here, we maybe limited by hardware to get a good user experience with these later OS's.

hi thanks bob. You're right. I guess a themed GB with cwm would be fine. I like the extended settings mods as well I have seen on many GB roms

FYI you can take the Settings.apk from Morka Mod and put it on your current Tablet. It works pretty well but some areas of the settings force close with an error since they do not apply.

Another way to get at all the hidden settings in a ROM is to download anycut from the Market.

Yep... try it and see all the neat settings that are in the ROM that Arnova chose to hide in the settings menu!
                  Some neat stuff in there
                  SIP phone settings
The standard Android Wizard for setting up accounts and turning on Google Location Services
                  Debug settings
                  Phone settings
                  Voice recognition settings
Accessability settings which will make the tablet speak words, etc
and so on... Again all kinds of interesting stuff Arnova chose to not have in the settings APK.
