Do USB webcams work with the CX-919?

on the Android 4.1 stock rom,it has a bug when you the usb camera, but after update to android 4.2, you can use the usb camera without problem.

the android 4.2 stock rom will come in this week.

That's the one I was using. It installs fine but crashes often. I'm now using the latest nightly. Works better so far
Just wondering, how come the official XBMC releases don't work with the CX-919?

First time poster here. I have cx-919 from Geekbuying flashed it with 4.2.2 by Finless (thanks mate) but can't make my usb cam to work. It is a cnr-wcam820 (not the hd) but is supposed to be driverless and worked fine under linux. Any help with getting it working is appreciated. Btw should i plug it in the OTG port or the normal usb should work (don't have a micro usb to female usb cable right now)
