Prometheus Finless ROM 1.2

Could you tell me how you operate? I also G02REF board.

I also have the older Prometheus and what I have found is you need to use a slower SD card like a class 4 (just for the initial upgrade, after you have successfully flashed the rom you can then use a faster SD card) and also hold in the reset button in the back until the three lights flash...

It was also mentioned in this thread that you might need to take the top cover off and hold the SD card in the SD reader slot while it flashes because some have a loose connection. I have two of these TV boxes and I did not have this problem...

With my tips and reading the README FIRST.TXT included in the zip package you should be set!

Hey, I just updated yesterday, well I didn't, I bricked it but a friend fixed it, all is great, a hell of a lot better than other stuff I've used.
Only one problem which I'm stuck with, I mainly use it for xbmc and YouTube but I find that I keep on losing sound for anything up to 5secs, it will play perfectly for anywhere between 10secs and a minute before I.lose sound again.
t the beginning I thought it was an issue just with xbmc as this was happening with the original Rom.

Any help would be great cause I'm trying to convince the wife that The Wire is the best programme ever and she can't watch it yet

You are posting in the FInless 1.2 rom thread, have you tried Finless 1.3 yet? If you have not please try 1.3 and see if you still have your sound problem.

Yeah I'm running 1.3
The audio output is pcm, but I have tried the other 2, I think it's the tv cause my friend who set it up had no problems

i was really disappointed with this device.
but i have pulled the prometheus out of the basement and installed Bob's rom

man i was in for a big surprise, everything is super fast and smooth.
i played with this device for a hole day, and it is da bomb.
together with the Tronsmart Prometheus-xbmcapp-20130507-debug, it streams movies, icefilms and 1channel.
the Tronsmart Prometheus now plays better than my minix neo5.

i wish i could launch xbmc from boot up, without Startup Manager (boot directly into xbmc)
