I jost received my MK808B Plus from GearBest.
Now I need to know, what I have to know before flashing some custom roms for it.
First of all, it is running 112K4.
Any newer stock rom out there?
Checking Geekbuying I find a "updated firmware" dated 15.12.2015 (Day.Month.Year
) Is it really a stock rom and if yes, what versions number does it have?

In the attachment you find my devices info. Is it possible to read what version of mk808b I have? Or do I still need to open it?
//Well finally I found out, the different clones were about the MK808B with a RockChip ... Uploading my pictures anyway.

What tools/drivers do I need for updating the firmware?
I have read about some kind of FAQ, but I did not find it yet, is there one?

It is my first android based tv stick.
Only got the fire tv stick too, but that is another world...

PS: oh yes, any recommendations which rom to use? I would have gone for the finless one suiting my device. But maybe another one?
Edit: Alright, already started it up.
Using a Mele F10 Deluxe, the first thing I discover is, the home key is not using the android home button, instead something like home key on a windows keyboard.
Another thing ... I was trying to use hardware acceleration for video playback i kodi.
Using the logging feature it tells me it is using the cpu ...
Am I doing some thing wrong? HW acceleration is activated inside the settings.
Youtube only shows me 720p, even if I set the display to 1080p 60Hz...
Limitation of youtube or my fault?
