Finless 1.4 4.2.2 working Netflix - Xposed Framework

I got Netflix working on my T428 by installing the Xposed Framework apk along with the Netflix Workaround apk addon.

Just finished streaming Adventure Time with no issues.

That's interesting..... But I am working on a patch myself using the Prometheus 4.2.2 ROM as it plays Netflix out of the box!

You need to install the framework apk and the open the xposed installer from your app drawr. Tick the install button and reboot the device. Once rebooted install the netflix workaround apk and then go back to the xposed installer app and go to the modules tab and check the netflix workaround box and reboot once more to activate the mod. Netflix should now play properly.

The nice thing about xposed framework is if you look it up there are a bunch of addons for it. Xposed settings let you change the dpi of each app installed (including system apks) independently of each other.

Sorry I didnt mention this before. Ive had this running on my phone a while now but didnt think to try it on my stick.

I am curious as to what this Xposed framework thing does.....

I ma going to have to look into it for sure. I have heard about it before but never thought it would work for us.

From what I understand, it changes features to the framework on the fly with a nice gui and the changes are reversable and not permanent. If you clear your cache and delvik the changes go away and you have to reapply.

edit: tried the new finless 4.2.2 rom for mk908, tried this fix, worked great, love you both.


edit 2: still a bit choppy when not moving mouse cursor. It may be a little better than on the 4.1.1 but I´m not totally sure. I wish there were a kernel for whatever 3188 device that did this right and that it could be made to work on this stick :/ It was tough to see on adventure time, but on Eureka it was visible in an instant.

ok, i find the problem, i use the stock rom for tronsmart mk908,and then rooted it, following this tread method, netflix works now

Any luck figuring out what makes this tick? Is it something we can add to the ROM?
