Help ! I need some advice on this tv box.

Chiptrip MXV S805 TV Box - UK PLUG BLACK

I bought the Gearbest this device has not worked. It restart / stop applications. No pre-install applications like Youtube, Skype, VLC, Chrome, etc.
They may be unstable "Google Play" or crashes / restarts when installing or displays errors.
I tried all the firmware that we have found here S805 and the result is the same. Not working. Even as media player files MVK up-n 2 Gb locks not working or reboots.
I asked the team to Gearbest to send me a firmware that works or return it. I have not received any response.

It would be a defective hardware (processor / memory) or does not have a correct firmware?

Hello, I do not own this box, but maybe the power supply is a factor. Do you have another you could use to test it? Just make sure that the test power supply has the same volts, equal or greater amps, and the correct Tip Polarity(very important).
Keep in mind, that even if the original power supply checks OK with a meter, the PS could still be producing "dirty" power or failing to produce sufficient voltage/current under load.

I have another food that draws 1.5 A but I have to find a power plug as the original. I do not want to ruin the original one can answer me from the Gearbest - for warranty / return.

I replaced alimentatororul 5V 1.5A and the same, all blocks.
example :
1. Open gmail.com -> e-mail received from sportsdirect.com ---> opening e-mail and browser restarts
2. opening again gmail.com -> block media box -> restart the media box to stop power supply.

You will need a 5V / 2 A Power Supply for sure.
Also a different Firmware can Help.

The power supply is 5V - 2A and is a tablet from Samsung.
The problem persists. I installed all the firmware

I tried everything now RKM MK05-20150630.img for S805.
It would go much better, I was able to access Gmail, view a video clip on YouTube, a movie on the USB stick, etc. Unfortunately, not blue power button stays on after pressing. You have to hold down on it all the time. When you lift your finger off it stops your Mediabox.
Can you help me ?
