MTK Tablet any experience? Looks like a really good deal.

I was looking at tablets today and ran across this one...looks to be a really good deal. I just don't have any experience with MTK cpu's. Don't know how Kodi works etc. I can use it as a tablet and an android box with the HDMI out and a keyboard. Thoughts?

I can only suggest to go generally over 100€ for a good tablet (even for a Chinese one).
Below that price generally there are only crap tablets.

This one have:

low display resolution
only 1Gb of RAM (too low)
only 8Gb of flash
cameras have too low res

quite heavy

other than that MTK are good SoCs. It's strange it has a micro HDMI, generally MTK SoC don't support HDMI output.

What about mediacodec support for kodi for mtk chips

I have used Cube tablet before, it works good, not fantastic for the low price, though, and you can pick one if you are on a tight budget.
