Me too.... Micro is too easy to break off inside. Mini is far more robust.
So just be careful with the port.

It is just fine :P, I hope you will get on few issues i have already mentioned... I think it is not a bad device in general, the only real problem that got me was the wifi (lol i have 20x mk802 iv and i have tried just one - the rest of batch doesn't have to be bad - will report back with this, i just didn't want to open more packages and touch them - better should get some rubber gloves )

My personal experience with 4.2.2 update(approx 2-3 days):
+Good performance (around 15 275 Antutu on performance)
+Stable - doesn't freeze
+Pre-rooted (I don't think it has been officialy mentioned, but it is)
+System is very responsive
+GPU stuttering that was on previous ROM is gone (particle and 3d test)

-Improvement in GPU performance is almost unnoticable (5-10%)
-HD video stuttering a bit on fullscreen
-Was said to be running up to 1.8Ghz, but roof is 1.6 - on the other hand it is stable+
- Bad wifi (on mk802 III S i got real 30Mbit DL! - mk802iv timeouts , DL 0,5Mbit ) - I will try some build.prop mods - will report back


Got any clue how to open this bugger? I tried carefully to pop it open but it always ended up just like half od the way - srsly i don't want to break it)


EDIT:
Ok so i did some mods to build.prop - DL is still poor (0,5 mbit), but browser and whole system seems a bit more responsive and some wifi issues seems to be "gone". - Still 0,5 mbit is unusable nowadays
