The S905 is proving to be quite prolific.

Does this box run the same firmware as the beelink mini mx and the tronsmart vevega s95?

Just bought this box, booted up once, it did an OTA update that came through and stuck in a boot loop. I dont think the firmware for the Vega S95 will work as they have different Wireless adapters, I tried the Tronsmart Roms on this box and it error'd when attempting to install. Both SD card and via the USB Burning tool. Currently I can't get it too boot due to the update.

What WiFi module does this box use?

I believe it is a AP6335 or 6330.. I had it opened up looking at the board but can't remember the exact WIFI module. I tried flashing it with the Tronsmart S95 Telos, Meta and Pro firmwares both via the SD card and with the USB Burning tool via Windows and all of which failed. Ive managed to completely brick the box to the point I cant even power it on now lol. All thanks to that stupid OTA update it did.

Sorry to hear that, hopefully an unbrick method will surface.

BTW S95 Telos uses an AP6335, the Meta uses an AP6330.
                Good luck.

Thanks, sadly Ive tried both of those Telo's .IMG files on it and it fails at 4% using the USB Burning tool. Oh well.

Did you try setting the USB Burn Tool to "Force erase all" before burning. Might want to try with the box's factory firmware if available.
There is a tool that helped with other Amlogic devices that were bricked, I think it was called Boot Card maker or similar. However, I have seen no reference to it regarding the S905, so it may not handle this SoC yet.
I hope you find a solution.
                    Good luck.

Start with your box's firmware for the best chance of unbricking.
