They discontinued producing tv boxes months ago and even closed their forum where people complained.
If you got it recently return it for something else or sell and buy something new again.

I've been hunting forever in terms of finding new suitable hardware. I seen the GT1, but the risk of no touch support with these great boxes kills me.

heres my current setup, utilizing a MK908, finless 1.7 on 4.2.1

Lots of people reported Youtube stuttering and audio problems on this device.
So better to look at another R3368 device with better support and maybe touch screen support like Geekbox that is open source.
A guy there also made a car project and turned his device into a car touch screen media player.

Thanks for the helpful info. I reached out to the dev and didn't hear anything back as well. Just asked if he had any suggestions or insights. Unfortunate.

Would this rom be compatable without too much fuss, and are the necessary lines of code in the kernel for touchscreen support. Touch support is an absolute must as this is for a car media hub. Any info would be appreciated.

    Hi Juniors,

Please go back at the beginning of this topic, and then you'll see everything that is needed to know how to hack the different Rk 3368 models.

Btw.: many complaint about 9.x ROMs. I'm still running 8.3 on R68 Meta that works fine and stable for more than a year already. "Lifetime Hack" was applied, MAC address is fixed with Flashtool by lonix, CPU clock frequency is set by Kernel Auditor at every bootup.
Kodi is v16 from Zidoo 1.034 with modified advancedsettings.xml. Screen refresh rate change works, HDMI and Spdif audio passthrough (DTS, DD) works, 5.1 PCM transcoding to DD works. For watching movies by Exodus addon in KODI, what else you need? I read about the latest Amlogic 912, that still is not better on movies.

Everything you can find in the previous posts of this topic.
