New Rockchip Batch Tool v1.7 Plus v3.5 Drivers

I Found a new version of Rockchip v1.7 Plus v3.5 Drivers

    *Mirror*
    www.freak-tab.de/freaktab/Rockchip_Batch_Tool_v1.7.rar

I the past I had no luck trying to install Rockchip driver for Windows 8 x64 This driver worked the first time.

Connect MX2 to the OTG port with usb debugging ON (DO NOT USE OTG cable) just use mini usb to usb.. Go to device manager right click on Rockchip >update driver > Browse computer for driver > Let me pick Device Drivers > Have Disk Go to were you have driver downloaded to Rockusb Driver v3.5 > X64 > win8 Install...

Then you can install Finless Roms with ROM Flash Tool Just make sure you have USB Debugging turned OFF with This Tool..After installing Driver

Or you can leave it on for the RKBatchTool and .img Files

I installed kasty-imito_mx1_mx2-422-20130504-rooted3.zip with Update.img inside Works just find...

    Good spot.

For unknown reasons the drivers on my PC became corrupted today and it would not allow any driver to be installed until I tried this, which worked perfectly.

Cannot Get To Install on XP

I have tried several times before and thought to try again with these. My Minix X5, Rockchip 3066, with Finless 1.3 shows in Windows as a GT-I9300 device. I think this is because Finless modifies the device ID to look like a Samsung device and work better with Play Store. When I follow the instructions here to manually choose the driver, it fails. Perhaps this is because it is not acting like a Rockchip device? Any suggestions, tips, help? Thanks

The device showing up as a GT-I9300 has nothing to do with why You cant install the drivers, bob does this so the device shows up more compatible apps & games in the play store.try this tool for installing the drivers

Thanks for clarifying all that. I was just guessing/grasping. I got the tool described and used it. It installed an ADB driver. I hope thats the one. After installing, I try to run the BatchTool from here and it shows no connected devices. I have tried all sorts of variations on USB->Connect To PC and USB DEbugging. In no case can I get BatchTool to show a connected device. Thanks in advance for any help.

Perhaps my understanding is too basic... Is there something I need to do with my Neo X5 to put it into a mode whereby the the batchtool can talk to it? Does it need to be in recovery mode or something else? Should I be use the OTG or a normal USB cable while using batchtool? I am pretty sure I had the ADB driver installed already since I have been developing apps for some time. Hmmm.

Thanks very much. Doing this, my PC now recognized the new hardware as a Rockusb Device. This is real progress! I had some trouble getting a connected device to showing up in BatchTool at first. But now I seem to have it. I really appreciate the time and help.

If I can impose one more time... I have this firmware unzipped and I can load the .img file into batchtool. But I am not sure if I hit the upgrade or the restore button. I think I read somewhere I can get into trouble doing the wrong thing. So what is the right thing?

                            Thanks.

And any idea if installing this mess with my CWM Recovery and the ability to restore a nandroid backup of my current Finless 1.3 setup in case this goes bad?

                            Thanks again

If you are upgrading from say a manufacturers Rom to a new version of that manufacturers Rom hit the upgrade button,But if you are installing a custom firmware (Finless rom) then usually it is the restore button.

And I don't rely no what will happen to your CWM Recovery ,, but think positive nothing will go bad all will be good positive thinking..

You could always back up everything on your box then restore it on the box again when you have flashed a new rom this is a good back up apk it will back up app + data https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...pRoot&hl=en_GB
