Are you gonna make 1.3 Finless?

Hey Bob, I am not rushing you or anything, I am just wondering if you are going to make that 1.3 rom for the x5 ? I have been waiting for it because I am using you 1.2b and I dont want to wipe everything and install Minix new rom and then have to do it again if you make a rom.If you are going to make a 1.3 I will wait but if not let me know because I will go ahead and install Minix rom so I can have surround sound. Thanks

Yes I do plan to make a ROM. But I am very backed up right now with 2 quad core sticks etc. So it will be at least a week before I get to it.

Right now ALL the quad core 3188 devices are having serious video playback (frame skipping) issues. It's like we went back in time and starting over just like the first 3066 devices

Alas I know this will get fixed but it is frustrating for some people right now including me as I am having to relearn all the stuff.

Maybe Minix with their great ROM support will get their quad core 3188 device done right out the gate!

It seems that many people have issues with the official MINIX NEO X5 20130516 (version 011) firmware. I do like the new functions in the new firmware, but I dislike the instability. I think many are waiting for some magic of Bob.

Btw. Is it possible to add miracast support tot the next ROM?

Hey Bob, Just wondering if you are getting anywhere with a 1.3 for the x5? I went on and installed Lewy20041 Rom but it and Minix rom are giving me a couple issues. Whenever I use any refresh rate other than 60hz ,the bottom half of my screen flickers like the background is showing thru whatever app I am using. It also freezes up constantly.I had the flicker problem on Minix new rom also but the freezing is more on the Lewy Rom.It is not a tv or hdmi cable problem as I have tried many cables and the tv is new 60 inch sony that is higher end and should be compatible.My wifi seems to stop about every minute or so.Its like downloads just stop and then slowly start back up about 15 seconds later.Dont have this problem with other laptops,tablets or phones on same wifi.X5 shows full signal even when it has stopped.Any Ideas Bob, I need some of your ROM magic.

I may be new here, but I'm chronologically advanced. From experience I know that it doesn't pay to pester the dev. DON'T PESTER THE DEV! You won't get what you want any faster. Possibly slower if he has to stop and vent.

Let's not assume he does anything for us. Let's just assume he's having fun or doing something more important than serving us free lunch.

If he does something for us at his own will, the by all means be grateful.

Maybe Bob (and all ROM developers) should adopt the CyanogenMod rule that says that you can ask about anything EXCEPT DATES.

Waiting for SDK2 arrives to tv sticks, for now only tablets got it, and for me is better to port a tv stick rom than a tablet rom.
We need to wait a little more in my opinion.
Any way some developers are working with tablet roms actually.
