has anyone sorted the accelerometer out on the AN8G2??
has anyone sorted the accelerometer out on the AN8G2??
Has anyone figured out why the accelerometers axis control in games always reversed?!
And is there a damn fix!?
Reversing the orientation using apps such as Orientation Switch doesn't work as the accelerometer matches the screen....
It has become a damn nuisances when playing games for me and the kids and really only effects flight and car sims...
I have poked around a little on the 10 G2 because portrtait mode on 10G2 is upside down (the buttons are at the bottom). I know Fenice57 was also poking around with this issue on the 7G2 as well. Alas we have not found an answer. Fenice's last comment was it appears to be in the kernel.
Bottom line everyone should hammer Arnova with Emails to fix it for all the Arnova's.
I may poke at this a little more to see if I can find a solution but if it is a driver in the kernel, you can forget it without kernel source code.

I just installed an app called display orinetateer off the market... played CHAOS and switch screen to portrait mode and accel is working as it should. Tilt left and helo turns left etc.... so the accel setting is only landscape specific! May be that info is useful to some devs... hope so...
Right spent 5-6 hours on this just testing games with tilt control and all games I tested was in reverse when in landscape mode but in portrait tilt controls was as they should be.... Trouble is in portrait mode buttons and menus are missing so are generally unplayable!!!!!
Question is why are they ok(controls) in portrait mode and not landscape?
Emailed arnova 4 times relating to this issue and never got a response! Wish there was a way to reverse the accelerometer ourselves
Arnova are useless at answering questions, all I can say is good luck
