Put SuperSU-v246.zip on USB thumb drive.
Attach USB mouse.
Insert usb and sd card using toothpick method above... hold 'til twrp screen
select install
select the usb drive and choose the SuperSU.zip file
select reboot SuperSU should be in the apps drawer.
I just did this yesterday and my M8S+ is new from geekbuying via amazon, if its a clone or not who knows I didn't open it to check,
**Install apps after rooting or permissions get all twisted.

These files are available all over the web , even on this site.
The TWRP image i used - https://yadi.sk/d/tzLwNZs7jFqcg - (TWRP_2.8.7.0_M8Splus.img)
The SuperSU I used - https://download.chainfire.eu/696/SuperSU/ - (UPDATE-SuperSU-v2.46.zip)

The box is working great, the only thing I notice is that the M8S+ slower to load Kodi
than my old minix. .Once it loads its fine. I'm running Jarvis 16,1 rc2.
Except for the parallax range the remote works fine if you max out the mouse pointer speed.
I must say the way lollipop handles SD card file directories takes getting used to.
All in all a good android box.
***I didn't use TWRP to back up the device ONLY to ROOT it.***
