Amlogic 450 ott quad core rom question

Hi all. First post! Basically I have 2 ott boxes, one runs perfect running kodi isengard. The other is giving me issues. I have tried all sorts but to no avail. I don't have root on this one either? My question is can I update the rom to the finless 1.8. It's a Amlogic mali 450 quad core mxq box s805. Model m201c Android 4.4.2 Build KOTH49H.20151016testkeys Kernel lihaiming@txcz#1 Main issues are kodi freezing when playing addons, I've reinstalled kodi and it's not improved. I also have the blue light staying on on powerdown issue which is annoying more than anything. Pic of box and packaging for clarity. Will split apart if needed. Thanks in advance

problem with 805 they are only 1GB when running Android and a heavy build of kodi you are left with 250 to 350meg of memory, try running openelec on your box and it will free up another around 300meg of memory.

also try not to bloat your kodi with to many adds like some people do "Fully loaded" is a no no.

also you might want to try one of the devs latest build for the s805 they rls few weeks back
