MK809iv won't boot
Hi everyone,
I'm new here and new to android tv boxes so please be gentle!
I've been given an MK809iv android stick ( the one with the slide out red antenna ) but it won't start. When I power it up I get the 4 penguins in the top left corner, then it comes up "GoogleTV" then a number of coloured circles fly in from both sides. These circles spin and pulsate, but that's it - it doesn't get any further.
I tried plugging it into my laptop (Windows 10) but it doesn't recognise it (nothing happens at all when it's plugged in). I found some links to drivers on here so I installed them but it made no difference. I've also tried various combinations of pressing what appears to be a reset switch while powering on. The only thing that happens is that if I hold the switch down then plug in to either microUSB port, I get the 4 penguins but it doesn't go any further.
Any idea what I can do to at least get it to boot up?
