If the €400 price tag is right it would be a hard sell you could build something like this for 350 http://pcpartpicker.com/b/vd2RsY and have a far better machine. Maybe MINIX should call it the "i" NGC-1 overpriced but you're paying for better support or something like that......
Now that the pricing has been confirmed, it is rather high for what it is.
I spent far less building a Beebox N3150 with 8Gb RAM and a 256Gb SSD, which has the same number of USB 3 ports (including 1 being type C) and additionally has an extra HDMI port.
The Minix has SPDIF, which would be useful for those that have sound bars and they have kept the power requirements nice and low, so these may be attractive features for some but I can't see it selling well at this price level, especially as we will begin to see more devices based upon the Z8750 and Skylake at competitive price levels.
