    New Beta Firmware, Version 0129


    New firmware for Vega S95, please note, We call this Beta release, as you know, we always wait for Amlogic to release new sdk to fix the sound drops problem in DTS/DOLBY audio passthrough, However, they can't finished it before the chinese new year, we don't want our users to wait too long time for a new firmware, so we release this BETA firmware first. You can try it out, and leave feedbacks, Our engineer will check it after the new year holiday, and we will release a new OTA update after the new year holiday. We hope you understand, and Please don't worry, we will follow your problem, and try our best to fix them.

    Here is the changelog:

    1) Fixed Yomvi app playback issue; other app problem will be fixed in next update;
    2) Fixed "10mb" error when connect with external HDD (finally fixed)
    3) Fixed the problem that some apps can't cache to external storage device
    4) Optimize 4K, H.265 video playback with local media player.

    Please Note, you will lose your data in vega s95 if you flash this beta firmware, and vidon xbmc still the same as before, because they are also waiting amlogic to release the new sdk to fix sound drop and release the official 15.2 for tronsmart vega s95. that will happen when we are back from holiday.

    We will collect feedbacks, and release official firmware after China new year holiday!

    It does fix some stuff but my ROM I will be releasing probably tomorrow fixes a bunch of stuff

          Only the Telos... I don;t have any of the other models to test with.
          After users try my ROM and all looks good I will see about porting.

            Damn. Was really looking forward to installing your rom on meta this week. Didn't realize the first release was going to be telos only

              Hello Bob, I have the Meta, I will be happy to use it to test anything that might help get the Meta covered. Other than the USB-bridged SATA and AP6335(Meta has 6330), the boxes seem to be the same, storage excluded. I may try your Telos ROM on it, realizing that I may lose WiFi and BT. I also realize I do so at my own risk, but do you foresee anything I should worry about? We talked before about the voltage differences(Telos 12vdc@2A, Meta 5vdc@3A), so not overly worried about that. Thank you and good day.

                but Meta has 8Gb emmc, Telos - 16 Gb
                I think it is important
