MXIII-G red light no signal

Hello everyone , newcomer here.. tried to search but don't know what i'm looking exactly for...so to the point

I got my MXIII-G from gearbest 2GB version today, it's my first android box ever, but can't get it to work, it just lights red led on me and gives no signal on 2 TVs , all of the HDMI ports, checked different HD cables but this damn thing gives nothing.
Is it bricked or damaged ? what are the options to start it. does flashing or upgrading help? any advice?? Please help me out
