I have this box and h ave a few questions if any can be so kind .....
1. there is no microusb / otg plug in. who does one 'update firmware manually ?

tried microsd card / usb and it won't update from there.....


another question , if it is possible to update, can another firmware be used on a similar spec'd box ?

I found the tool and software for this box on measy website. Perhapa you should try to download and unzip to see if there is instruction for uploading the firmware.
I don' t have this box so can't test for you.

There is no way, to connect the box to the computer
no cable, no OTG cable
nothing
only SDCARD and USB ports but neither allow me to flash firmware to it
and the USB burning tool needs to see it through PC to flash, which its not capable ...........that I can see

You might need the male to male usb cable. That's how it work wit beelink/tronsmart units. Check the bottom side of thebox to see if there is a little hole where you can press for reset. With Tronsmart one of the usb is OTG.

I think i figured out how to do it
need to put 'zip" on to usb drive/sdcard and go to update&install feature and let it scan it.
