Games don't run in HD - MK808B Original Finless 1.7

Hi,
I started with buying a midnight MX2. It runs android in HD but launch any game and you only get standard definition. The same games run in HD on my nexus 7.

I didn’t want to wait for a firmware update for the MX2 , to fix the issue of games not running in HD.

I bought an MK808B original and it didn’t run games in HD either. I flashed it to finless 1.7 and still android runs in HD but launch an HD game and it is 480p standard definition. What gives? Is it the maili graphics? The nexus 7 uses tegra 3. Maybe I need an android mini pc that uses an nvidia graphics to get games in hd?

My TV is 65 1080P plasma and am using HDMI. My xbox360, pS3, and Windows PC all run in HD on my TV through HDMI. What gives with these mini pc android devices? I just want to play my mobile games on my 1080p hdtv, in HD. Doesn’t have to be 1080P, 720P would be great but no! 480P is the best we can do? Really?

I am so frustrated. I did pre order the OUYA so maybe some day my favorite mobile games will be available on OUYA and then finally I can play them in 720p or better. I know the OUYA will run games in HD. Also, the OUYA uses a tegra 3 just like nexus 7.

I figured it out!!!! you need an HD kernal. I installed a 1080p kernal and now all the games detect HD support and run in HD!

WATCH OUT for overheating running a 1080 kernel! The hardware was not designed to run that 100%. This 1080 kernel was really made for people willing to mod the hardware and add cooling!

I am using your 1.7 with your patched 1080p kernal. I am happy with performance. The hardware will still overheat even if I don't overclock? If so, can you recommend another mini pc that can handle 1080p without overheating? I have the mk808B original. I don't mind spending the money . Is there a cooling kit that for someone without experience can install for mk808b? Any cooling mod guides for newbies? or any other suggestions for a guy with money but no experience that just wants to play android games in HD on a 65" TV?

Also, do you know of a way to power on the mk808B remotely? so I don't have to unplug and plugin the usb cable to power on?
