I may be reading it wrong but I can't see how the two are related.

Most (if not all) ROM's on Freaktab will come with drivers for Windows.

64bit can sometimes be a little tricky but I've not yet come across a 32bit issue, other than I think having to disable driver signature enforcement.
I'm guessing that is you have lag on HD with XBMC then it is with an older ROM?
