    MXIII - G, Beelink i68 or others?

    Hi,

I'm new here and looking for a Android TV Box mainly for kodi and local usb videos.
I have read here some suggestions and I think I need to get a quad core 2GB/8GB box with 4K.
My search get me to these two boxes:

Which one is better? Any other suggestions?

    Thanks for you help.

There appears to be a problem with the GearBest Flash Sale prices showing incorrectly - the MXIII-G should only cost ~$58-99 (not $85-84).

Personally I would choose the MXIII-G due to the multiple sources of firmware from Beelink/AZW, Tronsmart, Tronfy, ProBox etc. There are versions of both Kitkat, Lollipop as well as OpenELEC available. I think that playback should be better on the S812 as it scores very high in the Antutu Video Tester benchmark (see XDA review below).

You could also look at one of the Tronsmart Vega S95 devices which are based on the latest Amlogic S905 processor. These machines include free VidOn Kodi (normally $15 annually) which has several enhancements over standard Kodi such as 3D MKV, 3D BDMV, 3D ISO, BD-J menu navigation, DTS-HD, True HD and 7.1 Passthrough support.

Here is a YouTube review of the MXIII-G running Lollipop as well as a print review from XDA Developers.

      Hi

      Thanks for you suggestions.
I read some topics about this but I haven't understand if it's possible to run android and OpenELEC in the same box ?
Some claim that OpenELEC is more stable than android boxes but my kids would love to play some games and youtube movies, so android should be the first option.
