The future is your phone?

Just spotted this article over at Lillputing that talks of Intel's Android/Debian prototype phone, running an Atom X3 that essentially works as a desktop PC too with it having HDMI connectivity.

There are a few video links in there too that show off some of the capabilities.

It's remarkable just how small things can get and be multifunctional.

It's a cool concept. Wasn't there going to be an Ubuntu for phones? Seems I remember reading of one a while back. Maybe it was for tabs, I can't recall.

Yes I seem to remember a few similar kinds of projects muted in the past.

It's good to see the concept in actual action though and shows great promise.
