We have good news for fans devices from WeTeK company and not only. During today’s fair CABSAT in Dubai (CABSAT 2016 Exhibition) WeTek unveiled a new device called WeTek Hub.

The WeTeK Hub is a small TV Box that fits easily in your pocket. It measures only 7cm x 7cm x 2cm. WeTeK Hub is equipped with SoC from AMlogic –
Amlogic S905-H Quad-core 64-bit ARM Cortex-A53 up to 2GHz. Also we find 1GB DDR3 RAM and 8GB eMMC internal memory.
The device has a Dual Boot and runs on Android 5.1.1 and OpenELEC.

Is this the WeTek Core Jr.? I see it has the -H, but 2GB would be more encouraging. Somewhat strange seeing AC WiFi on a 1GB box. WeTek seems to have the licenses covered, so that is to their credit. External IR adapter is a plus too. Their official association with Kodi is also a plus. Could be a pretty nice unit. Have to keep an eye on this one.
