how do i make a livesuit img from a rom dump ? or how to modify an img and repack it ?

Does anyone here know how to make a livesuit img from a rom dump? or modify an existing img file? making one from a romdump would be better for me because i have already completed all the mods , but the latter would also work , thanks in advance for any help.

I have been playing around with Android Kitchen so far I have made a rom with the META-INF system.img in folder form like HTC phone roms and the boot file is still in .img form and would like to replace the recovery.img with CWM recovery.img as well.Have not tried to install the rom with CMW yet but will soon.. MX2
