Hello all first post and a bump!
I bought one through Amazon too. Have rooted it and have TWRP recovery on it. Works fine except the remote is not mapped 100% (web and video fast keys work but kodi does nothing) and it doesn´t always remember the time. I can flash roms etc on phones and tablets but I have tried flashing several firmwares and superceleron Rom for "research" but I am having no joy through TWRP or USB Burning Tool. I get either 0x10101002 Romcode/Initialize DDR... or 0x00101004 Erase Bootloader/Lowper.. errors everytime after 5 seconds depending on if Erase bootloader. At least I haven´t bricked it! Anyone else got one of these and got any newer firmwares or custom roms working on this box?

Well I finally got a new firmware installed (in the link). Managed it by pure luck and a wasted day managed it with both erase options unchecked and temp settings off, but haven´t managed it again since.
New firmware remembers the time and other changes but suffers from swin8launcher occasionally stopping, same with the quick settings menu but not the full settings and the smart i remote android app makes the box reboot (have installed droid client instead).
Would like to try supercelerons rom but don´t think the loss of time trying to flash the firmware would be worth it. There must be a better way of flashing firmwares than the usb burning tool.
