I'm looking for a way to disable the bluetooth Handset / Hands-free profiles from Kitkat or Lollipop ROM's.
I'm using a RKM V5 with my car stereo (Pioneer AVH-4100NEX using Appradio). Unfortunately when I pair with the stereo, it recognizes Handsfree, A2DP and what I think is HID (for the touchscreen).
I know I can hit settings icon in Android bluetooth screen after pairing to disable Calling capability, but the problem is that the stereo has registered the RKM V5 as having it. So it prevents the stereo from autoconnecting my mobile phone at same time. I'm able to connect both at the same time if I do a few manual steps, but I would like it to auto-connect. I believe the thing that is getting in the way is that the phone and the HDMI stick are registering as having the same profiles.
I can't find any apps that disable bluetooth profiles or apps that allow pairing with only specific profiles, which would be great. I would love to be able to pair as a HID device only for example, but I may at least need to have A2DP + HID. I don't understand why the HDMI stick ROM's have the Hands-free profile anyway.
Any help and hints would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
