This is based on the first firmware update released by Pipo.


This ROM is:

Rooted
Debloated
Init.d support
Busybox links added
2, 4, 6, or 8 gig user app space by choosing the appropriate parameter file.

i tried the parameter8 but theres an error when flashing.. im still testing if there are problems. I noticed that the nandflash didnt swap with the sd card is it possible to swap it?

Sorry, Nandflash swapping isn't one of the features I put into my ROM's.

Please try one of the other parameters just to see if that one is faulty. Start with 2g and move up from there......

ive tried all only the parameter8 has an error.. i tried editing the vold.fstab but it doesnt work.. hmm.. can u teach mo so i can swap it myself?

I'm not familiar with that process, nor have I ever tested it. Sorry.

I would be happy to look more into that for you...but I'm heading out of town for the weekend and I won't be back to ROM work until Monday. I'm not trying to put this off, but you may be able to find out more about this before I do.

You are the first to ever request this for one of my ROM's.

I will also look at that 8gb parameter file. I must have placed a wrong number somewhere. You say they all worked except the 8. That should be an easy fix. In fact I'll look at that right now. Stay tuned....

If you edit that 8g parameter file in notepad, on the very last entery (user) where it says -@0x0123C000(user) change it to -@0x0129C000(user)
That's the only change I can see in the consistency of the rest of the files.

See if that works.

ok ill test that.. one question, can u tweak or modify a rom made by other devs or u only base your roms from stock rom?

How much NAND flash memory is there on the S3?

The Pipo site doesn't say. If you only have 8gb of NAND...you can't get 8gb user app space because the system takes up part of it.

yes the 6gb parameter will do, the nand left was about 300mb.. and one last thing sir riley can u replace the sound for the keyboard? and also where there changes to build.prop and framework.jar?

Downloaded this Rom but get confused as its supposed to be for Pipo S3 but the Readme file says Pipo M5...is it ok to use on an S3 Tablet ?
