I have a question to ask. I have a Meep X2 tablet, which currently has no custom recovery/rom available directly for it. However, I believe that I can simply install a custom recovery from the very similar Ainol Aurora II/ Elf II, which has the same SoC. The only problem is, extracting uimage_recovery and putting it on the root of my external sd card results in nothing, as it just boots to stock recovery. I have tried multiple recoveries for this device, and I tried putting uimage_recovery in both the internal and external sdcard. Can anyone here with more experience with Amlogic processors (specifically the AML8726-MX) help me out with this issue? My tablet is rooted with stock rom. Thanks!
