Help Needed MXQ S805 AV Port working but No HDMI output (UART Logs Attached)

I have an MXQ with board markings MXQ-S805-BOX V1 2015-06-24

I purchased the box faulty, I have no info on how it became this way, or what the original software was on the box itself.

I have flashed a couple of recovery images to it via USB burn tool. Flashing appears to go ok.

On connecting to the TV via HDMI for its first boot after a flash, it shows the MXQ boot logo for about 2 seconds and then I have no image. If I then connect the av port cable (composite) I can see that Android has booted ok (just no HDMI out)

I have connected a Serial UART cable too see Uboot logs on boot up, immediately after a USB Burn tool flash, and when the MXQ Boot Logo comes on for 2 seconds though the HDMI (No av port attached)

Anybody have any idea on why its losing HDMI output after 2 seconds.

The firmware I am loading is MXQ-S805-V1.2 (HD180_V1.2) from http://4pda.ru/forum/index.php?showt...ost&p=44303577

Strangely it has booted once fully with the above firmware (no HDMI loss), but on reboot I didnt get even the MXQ boot logo though HDMI.

ALSO the MXQ boot logo ONLY appears for a couple of seconds directly after the box has been flashed with USB Burn tool. Further boots do not have MXQ boot logo even for a couple of seconds (No AV port attached)

I have tried 2 TVs and 4 HDMI cables to rule out any external problems.

Here are the Serial UART logs after a flash, no AV port attached, just HDMI, and MXQ Boot logo comes up for about 1-2 seconds:

    Anybody have any idea???

hdmi working if you get box logo at first, then goes away, system hung, wrong firmware, try another different firmware. Here is assortment of firmwares, maybe might work, good luck

System hasn't hung as I have stated box boots to android (see my 1st post).

Also as stated, I have tried multiple usb burn images (from the Russian forum above). The HD180 v1.2 seems to work the best as it has booted once with hdmi output (see posts 1 for description of fault, and logs). Sadly your linked images do not work as good as HD180 v1.2 firmware as far a can see.

I'm thinking it may be a "race condition" on boot, but need help with someone who understands the console logs linked in post 1....I.e does it show hdmi switching off in the boot process. Maybe it's an incompatible device tree in the boot Loader?? Or there is some corruption to something after the 1st boot.

      Anyone have any other ideas?

        hi Dc0de,
did you get the box up and running?
i have exactly the same, at least markings are the same.
i'm trying to install openelec, but i can't get it to boot from sdcard.
is it possible to install with usb-burning-tool?
