You build a very good and rock solid firmware!!!
    I can't thank you enough.
I have installed it to a Tronsmart R28 pro 2G/16G witch is connected to a Yamaha RXV 781 and to an LG 65UH950V. The sound is amazing since all audio bitstreams are passing through the AV and the 4K is astonishing.

Some question though. How can i root your rom and is it compatible with init?
Also as a torrent server what do you suggest?
Go to Accessibility Options - Root system

It's very sad that Tronsmart abandoned their RK3288 device over a year ago.
These devices have so much potential.

I mean, the Problem is the RK-Codec. The Video dont´t start with the Codec, i hear sound and the Timeline Jump to 20sec or so and then nothing.
When the video start playing it works so long until i seek 1min or 1 chapter forw. Then the video frozen.

This Problem´s are solved with the mediacodec-surface in use. On NTMC and RKMC.

    Ok, now I know.
Yes, some streaming with RKCodec doesn't seek, I saw that bug.
When you seek with the IR Remote then it will work and the video will play but when you use an airmouse for seeking you can hear the sound changing but the video freeze.
I added an extra setting under the NTMC menu, 'Allow playback with Mediacodec'
If you play lots of online streams, you can set it to 'HD and Under' or 'Below FHD' or 'Below HD'.
Then all your streams will play with Mediacodec and seeking will work correctly but your local storage high quality videos like Full HD or 4K(anything above the setting you set) will still play with RKCodec for improved hardware acceleration.
So you can experiment with that setting.
Then videos will play with both Mediacodec and RKCodec depending how you set it up.

If you only want to play videos with Mediacodec, you can just turn RKCodec off then the 'Allow playback with Mediacodec' setting will have no effect as it works with the RKCodec setting enabled.
All the videos will then play with Mediacodec or Mediacodec Surface but Mediacodec is not good for some 4K video playback, while RKCodec plays 4K videos better.

You can also press the letter 'c' on an airmouse or wireless keyboard or the 'menu' button on an IR remote to select 'Play using' then you can play a stream or video with MXPlayer or RKVideoPlayer instead for improved performance and settings.
You can also setup NTMC to play all videos with MXPlayer by default if you choose so, but it is better to use NTMC/Kodi's built-in video player to have access to all the menu settings.

Other users reported HD Audio is working with RKCodec enabled but with different receivers.
Also check if HDMI Bitstream is enabled in Android Audio Settings.
What videos are you trying to play that don't work?

i installed your v1.7b - 09-09-2016 to my Beelink R89. The Firmware is great.

I testing HDMI-PT with your NTMC and with the last RKMC (24.10.16). I have a Pioneer VSX 921 VCR.

With NTMC with RK-Codec on, it played no TrueHD / DD+ / DTS-MA. The Video not starting. DD and DTS will playes with amc Mediacodec (not with amc-s (surface).
I only enabled for this test, PT in NTMC with all DTS, True-HD ...

When i disabled RK-Codec and the normal Mediacodec ( only surface enabled) NTMC played DD, DTS, True-HD and DTS-MA without shutter with the amc-surface.
Only DD+ will played with Software-Acceloration.

With the RKMC it will all played with the RK-Codec (DTS / DTS-MA / DD / DD+ / True-HD). Allmost the Video will not start, only Sound.
When the Video work, then no lags / shutter. Only when Skip to next Chapter, the Video crashed.

I disable only RK-Codec, then all played with Mediacodec-Surface (amc-s) great and no shutter. Chapter-Jump works fast and no crash.

Thanks for you awesome ROM and your work to make it better.

The story about 24bit 192/96Khz is still something what has got to be coded in Marshmallow, and because off that it will not work for now.....I saw a few videos with very enthusiastic people from samsung and sony plus the google team.....Busy with better audio experience in android, it was for me amazing to see how much effort the have to do to make it work...Wow....All the buffers and the other devices witch are infected because off the phone platform what has all lot off buffers and other things what influenced something (what looks simple)like audio playback......But they have to rewrite the part in with this audio process is in.....Funny i think is that in a movie its no problem to extract the best audio out off an android system..You mentioned HD audio, as 24bit audio.?

And a question about the google play and ogyoutube app...The crash and ogyoutube i updated it like the play app but as soon as i boot up again after 3 times they stop working.Installing a app isnt possible anymore...What can i do with this...

    Thanks
It is better to just use the old Google Play installed.
You can try to go to 'Apps' and reset the Google apps to their original apps and uninstall the updates.
There are always problems updating the Play Store.
Google Play is dependant on several other Google apps installed and if all of them aren't updated at the same time or a specific version, there will be crashes.
I will see if I can get some new Google apps working in a new ROM but I also always have trouble with that.
Maybe just use the normal Youtube app since OGYoutube is also dependant on 3 other apps, MicroG etc. that are minimal Google app versions.
I'm now making Lollipop and MM firmware for RK3229, will later this week work on a new RK3288 ROM.

For Flac, I can try to add 192khz support but don't see any patches for 24-bit.

You have to copy the whole mega link not just the red part, the part afer the red is the decryption part. For some reason when you click it, it only opens the red part without the decryption. Copy and paste the whole link in a download manager like Jdownloader or Mipony or use Mega's own download manager.

Just extracted it with pass nagrace and it worked.
Do you use 7zip to unzip the file?
