I received the mk808b pro a few weeks ago, and I guess I'm in the minority. I've used it extensively (using it right now to write this), and have had no heat issues with it. The UI, however, is slugglish. It needs some ROM development from any interested developers at freaktab.

      couple of reviews.

As you can see the TV-Stick MK808B PRO has received the tender nickname "Little Toaster"

      and From cnx.

I noticed the power draw was 8.4 watts, and my IR thermometer reported 88 C. I had to turn if off, and let it cool for 5 minutes to be able to use the stick again.

What it need is a better Firmware.
Then you will see that it will get better.
On the other Hand using a Thin Alu Foil as CPU Cooler is a mess !

I want to try to check the capability of running on this device Openelec, LibreElec, Ubuntu, Debian etc. Without breaking the firmware in the internal memory.

Thank you. The dtb file took. By the way, the archive contains a kernel file uImage. File remote.conf no.
