What makes it the strongest tvbox?
Specs , no indication of MHz? Or (what ) version of Android? No Dolby/DTS??
      When is it expected?
As i never seen any custom roms for realtek units.. will zidoo support this unit for some time?

Well, when it comes to HDMI capture, it has HDMI 2.0 in/out. So in that way, it will be the strongest TV box. Well that and the thicker plastic.

Interesting looking specs and a pointer to where these boxes are going.

BT 4.1 would be better and more than 1 USB 3.0 port.

I think Zidoo have spread themselves too thin though with support and whilst they may bring out regular updates, what they fix in one has regressions from another and they don't seem to have any real testing protocols in place.

They also seem to have a habit of dropping other box support when a new flagship comes along, so if I was an X6 user, I'd be concerned.

                  Why device have HDMI IN?
It would be better if device had two HDMI OUT: one for video to tv; other for sound to receiver.

Its a hdmi in, so you can record from the device connected to this hdmi in.

For HDMI capture, PIP or streaming. Has SPDIF for connection to an AVR or RCVR. But could also just send the HDMI signal to the TV from the AVR/RCVR

HDMI capture? HDCP capture? HDCP 2.2 capture? Is it possible? Is it legal?

How many users of media players want have HDMI IN? 1%? 0.5%?

Only unprotected signals can be recorded. If its legal or not depends on the laws in your own country.

Strictly speaking, bypassing HDCP is illegal and covered by WIPO, which pretty much covers most nations.

However, Intel did lose a case that they bought when a court ruled that because the hardware in question was downgrading the video during capture, Intel lost the case.

So when you do see devices with HDMI capture ports, you will note that whilst some will capture a 4K stream, they will only output in HD.

The first company to produce a 4K in 4K out device will almost certainly see themselves chased heavily by Intel.
