T95 android tv box

Does anyone one know of a way to find out who made the stock firmware on a box. I want to try rooting my T95 and try to find a newer firmware that fixes the netflix and google play services issue with the model i have. The seller doesn't know who built the firmware.

I can't really find any information on the internet i presume because it is a newer model or because it is a crap product.

Something interesting to exploit, after a factory reset and the first boot, the T95 operates in HD on youtube and Netflix works, but when you reboot the second time after the factory reset , no HD on youtube and Netflix does not work, I hope a solution soon

ok you did not describe if it was 2gb or 1 gb
what version youtube did you install framework version og the other ?

Thanks poul50, i'm a bit nervous with rooting my t95 as I had a generic m8 that bricked after a failed firmware update that i had to root.

Has anyone had luck rooting and updating firmware on the t95?

Interestingly i recieved an OTA update on the T95 i have, suddenly netflix was working until i shutdown for the night and when it started back up was dead again. I'm really starting to hate this box worst purchase i made, my M8S which got bricked worked better then this thing. I'm leary about rooting to use xposed because the ezroot.zip makes no mention of working on this box and i don't need this thing to brick. If anyone has a suggestion on how to fix netflix not working then i would love some suggestions. to recap netflix launches, shows content, i pick somethign to play and it sits in an endless loading loop.

I bought one too. Compared to the S95 Vega I had, this one blows. So many problems...
Now if someone were to point me in the direction of an Openelec build for this, that may solve most of the issues, such as the audio glitching every once in a while for a moment, slow and fast playback, with no audio, etc etc....
