Need Help - MiniMX No Recovery - USB Burning Tool Failed - Created SD Boot Card but not booting

I have a MiniMX 1GB/8GB and I was using USB Burning Tool(v2.0.6.2build2) to burn MiniMX S905_106L1 and it failed part way through and I can no longer use toothpick method to boot into recovery mode & when I connect via USB and use USB Burning Tool the box shows 'Connect Success' for a couple seconds then disconnects, I'm guessing the reason for this is because recovery is missing now. I have moborobo installed and have flashed other boxes with the same pc. The box still boots Openelec so when I used USB Burning Tool and it failed it didn't wipe everything.

I'm not an expert with these boxes by any means but I have been flashing various firmware for years now, any help would be appreciated as I am stumped.

I have tried to build a SD Boot Card using Bootcard Maker but I cannot get it to boot recovery via SD card, these are the steps I have followed so far...

    1) Extracted bootloader.img from s905_105l1 firmware and renamed it u-boot.bin
    2) Used Bootcard maker & u-boot.bin to create bootable SD
    3) Copied unlock_autoscript & usb刷机工具说明.wps to SD card
    4) Copied s905_105l1 firmware files to SD card (factory_update_param.aml, p200-ota-20160129.zip, recovery.img)
    5) Created aml_autoscript using mkimage & amltxtscript - http://freaktab.com/forum/tv-player-...962#post306962
    6) Copied new created aml_autoscript to SD card
    7) Inserted SD card into MiniMX & booted box - boots Openelec
    8) Tried toothpick method - boots Openelec

    Am I doing this correctly?

Enter via SSH to OpenElec box & issue "reboot recovery" command.

Wow I had no idea you could do that. thanks alot! Guess I got lucky that Openelec still booted.

I wonder what I could have done if it didn't boot anything. There are tutorials all over the place about how to unbrick the S8xx boxes but I haven't seen any for the s905 yet.
