just upgraded use that term lightly as this box has been nothing but a pain, first one was DOA, second one now is hardly working HEVC does not seem to work. had OpenELEC on the original GQ and it worked great would love if anyone knows if openELEC will run on this box cause KODI will not work at all from the matricom launcher. it loads a list of streams but when i select one it thinks about loading and then it freezes the box and need to unplug it to reset.

The Matricom launcher is crap - in my opinion.

Try and install a new launcher - and then freeze the Matricom launcher so it does not cause any problems. (I use Titanium to freeze apps).

Using KK launcher and tried others - all work and load KODI no problem.

I keep the launcher for the home button feature to bring all apps up at bottom of screen.
